Many cases require hospital care and intensive monitoring or accommodate post-surgical patients for recovery.
The Hospital Veterari Glòries has different hospitalization areas: two general wards (one for dogs and one for cats), one isolation ward for infectious animals and another one for intensive care or ICU.
The Intensive Care Unit, in synergy with the highly qualified stuff, has the necessary equipment for the assistance for animals in critical situations. The administration of fluids, oxygen, heat, temperature and humidity control, together with the monitoring of vital signs and the implementation of the appropriate therapy are essential for the stabilization of these patients in critical conditions.
Our patients have a 24 hours presencial care by the veterinary team. Providing the best care along side maximum comfort, results in a much faster recovery.
From Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 8:30pm. Saturday from 10am. to 14pm.
